How to Market Your Business or Product - Easy & Free (2017) Part 2
Welcome back! This the second and final part of this series. We will continue talking about how to market your business or product in today's age. If you haven't read Part 1, here is the link to it. Are you ready? Alright, let's begin.
Google Accounts
Now, we move on to the other sections of the Google account, which are Google Plus, YouTube, and Google Blogger. Similar to My Business, all of these are sub-accounts within the main Google account. You have to sign up to each of them to have access. Don't panic, it's easy and free.
Google Plus
Let's start with Google Plus. With Google Plus, you can join communities and groups that have a common interest. Also, you can create your own community or group. This account is based on individual posts and collections, which is best that they have the same subject or category.
Based on these postings and collections, you will get followers the same way you would follow people that have information relevant to you. The whole idea here is to create awareness and pick people's interests.
YouTube
Now, let's move on to YouTube. I am sure you have heard of this. Now, you can join the millions of people who are making videos about stuff and funny cats.
Within your Google account, you can register for YouTube and have your own channel, where you can upload your own videos about your business, services, and/or products. Perhaps you can show a video about how you make your product, being careful of certain details that you don't want competitors to know. It adds credibility to your business and this will definitely pick people's interests.
These videos can easily be embedded in your website, shared throughout social media and share through email links.
Google Blogger
Now, let's move on to Google Blogger. As the name suggests, you can make blogs. I know it sounds overwhelming and it is at first, but like any social media, Blogger is about topic content and some visual imagery, such as a photo, an illustration, or a video.
Let me give you an example of how this could be done. If you are passionate about what you do, such as baking a cake with themed designs or maybe creating flower arrangement designs, you can take photos of your finished products and make it interesting by showing the process of how you did it. Don't worry that someone will steal your ideas.
As a creative person, you will always be ahead of the curve. Competition is always going to be around. There is enough business for everybody. The key to stay busy doing what you love doing, is to let people know that you are doing it and you're good at it.
If you attract enough attention to your blog, you can even make money with it by letting Google place small ads on the side of your blog.
Summary
In short, the Google account is so amazing and it will help your business immensely. There are so many other tools within the Google account that you will discover once you start using it. Google Drawing, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, Google Photo, these are just a few to name.
Remember, you don't have to do this all at once. Start little by little, but consistently and slowly increasing your online efforts.
